”San Matteo” holiday house is located in the historical centre of the Sicilian baroque town of Scicli, in the province of Ragusa, and is surrounded by picturesque alleys, churches and mountains, only 7kms. from the seaside.
Scicli is an ideal place to enjoy a typical “Old Sicily” atmosphere. Finely furnished, “Casa San Matteo” has four beds, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a separate shower. “Casa San Matteo” maintains its traditional allure - no air conditioned, no television - in the heart of an Eighteenth Century town still intact.
The house has two entrances at different levels, both reaching out to the charming alleys around the Church of San Matteo, one of Scicli’s symbols. Among the distinctive features of the house there are an ornate (stuccos) circular vault, probably and old private chapel, and an original, black, local stone floor.

HOW TO REACH US
By car From Palermo: Motorway A19 Palermo - Catania; then Expressway 194 until Ragusa and than follow for Modica Town and finally Scicli.
From international airport of Catania Take the Highway Messina-Catania and then go to Ragusa through the s.s 114, after on s.s. 194, afterward on s.s. 514. Leave Ragusa on your left and continue to Modica, through s.p. 42 reaching Scicli.
